Demonstrations, videos, and large-scale models, as well as a display of antique tools, reveal the skills of Compagnons du Devoir, a French guild of artisans, dating back to the Middle Ages that teaches teens in ancient skills of forging, stone masonry, glass making, and timber-framing. These students were an essential part of rebuilding Notre-Dame Cathedral. See an exhibit of their work mounted at the Julia Ideson Library and demonstrations in the plaza in front of the library.
Exhibit on display June 28 - July 31, 2025.
