Anita Kiperman

We lost a shining star and our hearts are filled with sadness. We will always remember, cherish, and celebrate Anita’s generous spirit, elegance, wit, fierce intellect, and gift for story-telling. Anita loved sharing her passion for education, learning, art, and music. To her, nothing was more important than helping the next generation understand the many stories that we share through time. Anita’s influence on our programming was profound as she brought immense creativity to her role of developing events for the organization. Her commitment to the Houston community is legendary. But above all we will remember her most for her joy for life and deep love of family and friends.

One of Anita’s last events with Archaeology Now was at a reception honoring Dr. Irving Finkel, Asst. Keeper of Ancient Mesopotamian Script at the British Museum with whom she is pictured.
