Discover the unique cuisine of Oaxaca and what would have been placed on an ofrenda at a typical Dia de los Muertos celebration. Your “Culinary Adventure” includes a mezcal tasting, a mandatory component of any ofrenda. Stories of family, home, and food abound in presentations by James Beard Award Winning chef Hugo Ortega, his brother José Luís Ortega, and Elvis Espinosa.
