A Medieval Musical Journey: Gregorian Chant

Ensemble Organum

Medieval Music from Notre-Dame de Paris

Music meets architecture. Composers who worked at Notre-Dame de Paris were creating music in response to architecture as it was being fashioned! They were stretching space and sound to allow for a flamboyant artistic expression and communication between music, architecture, and light that gleamed through stained glass windows. Experience its beauty.
