The Alliance Française of Houston, Archaeology Now, and the French Consulate of Houston are excited to invite you to a special discussion on the groundbreaking use of 3D imaging in the restoration of the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. This event will highlight how advanced 3D technologies have played a pivotal role in the rebuilding process after the devastating fire in 2019.

In this insightful conversation, two leading experts in the field of 3D technology and heritage restoration will share their knowledge and experiences:

  • Natalia Peters, Representative from Iconem, a French start-up specializing in 3D reconstruction of endangered heritage sites

  • A representative from History, a French start-up which reinvents the museum experience by leveraging new technologies

Moderated by Belle Carroll, from Page Architecture, this discussion will explore how 3D technology not only enhanced the accuracy and efficiency of the restoration but also allowed for innovative solutions to preserve the cultural heritage of this masterpiece.

Join us to discover the transformative power of 3D images in preserving history and ensuring the future of Notre-Dame de Paris!
