A Mudhif in a Box

This might be the first time that a mudhif was ever created using components. This brilliant idea came from Azzam Alwash and Jazzim al-Asadi who saw a way of incorporating the work of master builders to bring an essential part of the marsh in Iraq to the Gulf Coast of America. The components of the mudhif - basically a Lego set made of reeds - were loaded on to a forty-foot container to be shipped to Houston.
