Win Scutt

Win Scutt is Properties Curator with English Heritage, the non-profit trust that cares for England’s national monuments.  Win is responsible for the conservation of 120 monuments in the west of England, including stone circles, medieval castles, and abbeys–including Tintagel Castle and Beeston Castle, where a Bronze Age roundhouse has been rebuilt. Although his role involves the conservation and research of many of these sites at any one time, his current focus is at Tintagel, where he manages the Tintagel Castle Archaeological Project.

Scutt is a regular contributor to BBC radio and television. including  twelve years on national radio contributing news on world archaeology. He has also appeared on several Secrets of the Dead episodes focused on the world of King Arthur.
